AMC+SHAC Workshop
"The Other 6 Days"
The most
common question from Christian at work is this:
"How do I
serve God in my daily occupation?"
This workshop is not about handing out
tracts at work or 'bible bashing'. It is about establishing foundations of
excellence that will give you consistent and credible relationships with
your work colleagues. They will make a connection between what you
believe and how you live, especially under pressure. Work
is a vital part of your Christian life because it is the place where you meet not-yet Christians the most
often.
What is God's purpose for you at work? How
does he mandate, equip and connect you to serve him on a daily basis?
This workshop is about developing a theology of work
that will inspire and uplift you... bringing a revelation of God given purpose to your
everyday work!
Come and find out how your daily occupation is a
vital part of caring for the creation, of ministering to others and
worshiping God!

Feedback from previous workshops:
"Brilliant - so much to learn and so much to apply.
I am inspired and can't wait to fulfil my "new" role as Jesus' ambassador.
Thanks - well worth the time and dollars!"
"Very motivating! I only work part time, as I have a young child, but I feel
the principles can also be applied to my other marketplace of young mums who
I see during the rest of the week.""Personal examples are good. Information given in a practical way. Gave
reassurance that the marketplace is reachable."
"This really challenged me to think more about my behaviour at work and how
to bring Godly attributes into my workplace so that my colleagues would want
to know more about Jesus Christ."
"Excellent! This is just really what I need. I was really despairing of
being one of only a few Christians at work; seeing all the worldliness -
worldly values so much in my face and very little Christ-likeness. This
workshop gives me hope and helps to equip me to be a better servant of
Christ."
