Welcome to a network of Christian men and women OnWatch for the highest good of the cities and towns, companies and corporations where God has placed us. We see our workplace position as strategic in reconciling the marketplace with the Kingdom of God (Col 1:15-20).

AMC is a serving organisation that exists to:

• create a marketplace community focussed on releasing the Kingdom of God in our cities and towns

• provide leadership training.

• catalyse new groups where Christian marketplace groups do not exist

• support marketplace champions in assisting local churches to make the Sunday-Monday connection.

• maintain a register of marketplace groups so people can connect with a Christian organisation in their workplace or profession.

• provide a menu of resources to help these organisations be strategic and effective.

Our passion is to represent Jesus in an authentic way in the city: "And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us" (1 John 3:23).

Our core guidelines for mission in the marketplace are:

• catalysing

• collaborating

We have no controlling mandate. Rather we are committed to inspiring Christians in the marketplace to see their Vocation as their Mission and to help resource them to be effective in this role.

We are men and women alert to the presence of forces averse to the Kingdom of God. We are people growing in maturity as we learn and apply God’s Word, able to discern good from evil (Hebrews 5:14). We know we have been chosen to serve on God’s team, the victorious side. We are people who serve the highest authority with humility, obedience and vigour.

We are men and women who do not continually return to the status quo - because we understand the consequences. We understand the situation that led Israel into exile (2 Chron 36:14-20).

We are men and women who watch and pray under the unction of the Holy Spirit. We are people who learn from situations like Matthew 26:41. We are God’s agents in a fallen world, doing His stuff with eternal outcomes. We are people who see these days as the most exciting times to be alive and gladly rise to the call of serving our Lord Jesus Christ.
