Spend time examining ways to study the Bible, using aids such as:

Contents - getting to know where the books of the Bible are located;

Concordance - looking up words and finding their location;

Cross reference system;

Charts and commentaries;

Topical or subject indices;

Making your own marginal notes and cross references;

Using a highlighter;

Computer Bible programs; and

Daily reading guides.
