Given as part of the commissioning service at the Cre8 conference on
Saturday 14 March 2009:
“Dear Lord, as obedient followers, we will live for you and speak for
you in the market place you have called us to. We will use our skills,
gifts, resources and opportunities to increase your kingdom on earth. We
will seek to make disciples according to your Spirit’s leading and we
will be a blessing whenever the chance presents itself. As we endeavor
to serve you in this manner, we thank you Lord for the assurance of your
empowering presence.”

Preparing for Battle
The Battle
is the Lords. Example of Israel under attack from the Assyrians (Isaiah 36).
Hezekiah turns to prayer and the prophet speaks of God bringing the victory
(Isaiah 37). God fights the battle (37:36).
Moving Forward (4 Apr 2005)
We are to
be bonded together in unity around the centrality of His name. We are to wait
on God both individually and corporately. When we hear God speak the same
thing into our hearts we are ready to move foreword in unity.
